Capture Real Life in 52 Weeks

So this week was my first week of doing the photography course set out by the fabulous blog A Beautiful Mess entitled 'Capture Real Life in 52 Weeks'.  Each week there is a different photography challenge and for this week it was 'Good Morning, Good Night'.  As my evenings are ridiculously hectic, (making dinner, doing a second sitting for my husband when he gets home, bathing children, chasing children around the house to get them in their pyjamas, putting them to bed, reading them a story, switching out the light, putting them back to bed, having a shower....collapsing...finally...in bed myself), I haven't had the time to take a 'Good Night' shot.  So... here are my morning attempts at this assignment.
My toaster.  When you have lots of kids an extra large toaster is a necessity.
The cheeky face that greets me in the morning.
Making school lunch and drinking tea.  Can't start the day without my tea.
My four year old was refusing to eat....and worse....was refusing to drink.  Problem solved.  Make it bizarre by giving him liquids in a jar with a straw.  Bingo.
And the sun rises up over my side fence to shed light on a brand new day.
